Idea #1 Civilian/Detective
DETECTIVE has been working to break through the MOB's ring of terror for quite some time to the point where he has had a hit out on him. He has spent everything he has on trying to solve unsolved murders and put them all in chains to no avail. Because of this he keeps his personal life clean, afraid of blood ever falling on his hands...
But CIVILIAN makes that hard. He doesn't want to care or become attached to her and yet the more he sees her the more he can't get her out of his head. He struggles with the emotions she causes and the possessive nature of his she toys with. Often he finds himself fighting with her and pushing her away only to come crawling back days later full of apologies and regret. He is terrified that if linked to him she'll be a target. But how can he deny the one person who means most to him against his will?
Idea #2 Detective/Double Agent
DETECTIVE & DOUBLE AGENT have been partners for several years now. They count on each other through and though be it work or personal. When DETECTIVE's husband died it was DOUBLE AGENT who made sure she survived it all emotionally. When DOUBLE AGENT was divorced for the second time it was DETECTIVE that made sure he ate and went to work and functioned like a normal adult. They have become work husband and wife in many aspects. They have a close connection and value each other.
Unfortunately though DETECTIVE is beginning to discover the truth about DOUBLE AGENT. It has been little things through paperwork and files disappearing at work to noting secret phone calls. DOUBLE AGENT doesn't want anything to happen to DETECTIVE but knows that she won't see eye to eye on what he is doing no matter what. So how can DOUBLE AGENT protect DETECTIVE from the truth? How can he stop her from digging and uncovering his secret? Can he protect her from his bosses? Can he protect himself from AI if DETECTIVE finds out? Can he protect himself? |
